Humble Beginnings
Horizon Hydraulics was founded in 1983 by Wayne Lewis. As a father and son team they started as the only employees of the company and worked out of a 500 square foot facility. Horizon Hydraulics has grown into a faith based company with a Customer 1st drive to success, Horizon works every day to improve the lives our staff, be a responsible corporate citizen and treat all we touch with respect and dignity.
Today Horizon employees over 45 shop and office staff working with in facility over 10 times the original size and two large warehouses for orders and inventory just a block away. Long Term, Horizon is building the foundation to increase market share with quality workmanship, on time delivery every time, cost controls through automation and moving into new industries where there is a need for reliable fluid power options they can trust. Horizon is poised for international growth in our ST80 Line of Cylinders that are incorporated into the Iron Roughnecks in most drilling rigs around the world.
Horizon believes in automation and has invested in modern machinery and tools for ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) to better managing data, live reporting of jobs so customers know where their jobs are, automatically notified of any part delays and when to expect them, Epicor ERP systems provides Horizon with accurate data to build a solid foundation, control costs, plan for the future and adjust to new demands from our customers and our global economy.
